Guest guest
The man who maintains silence inside, can progress in the spiritual realm. As long as we witness the world as a 'cinema', there won't be any agitations in the mind. Only when involve ourselves emotionally with the world, all the multifarious problems arises in the mind. This leads to depression. How to maintain inner silence? Only a selfless and egoless man can maintain inner silence. Not all are capable of the sadhana. First we have to remain as water drops on a lotus leaf. The water drops though remain on the leaf, it will not cling to the surface of lotus leaf. It will move hither and thither as the leaf flutters. We must also maintain our relation with the world in the same pattern. It is possible provided we try. We must not bother about the initial hurdles in the path. Mind will not come under our control as long as we have desires and ambitions in life. A disinterested man alone can maintain distance with the world. He should remain indifferent to the pulls of the world. Hence take the first step by watching the world from a distance like a film show. Everything is a passing cloud in the world. Nothing remain static in this world. Everything changes every moment. Why should we fix our attention on this ephemeral world? Let us concentrate on the permanant principle which is God. Sairam.
