11 Holy Sayings - Whoever puts his feet on Shirdi Soil, his sufferings would come to an end.

All your pilgrimages, all your holy dips in sacred rivers, all

your meetings with great sages and all your acquisition of knowledge will be

purified only by your visit to Shirdi. Only by the grace

of Shirdi Sai Baba, they

all will bear fruit. Atmasakshatkar is possible only by Baba's grace.

 

Shirdi is not a mere place of

pilgrimage, place of Punya, but the place of

liberation. Baba is more a giver of liberation than a giver of virtues and

boons. Know Shirdi to be a spiritual center of

self-realization and liberation. With this knowledge, look at Shirdi and Shirdi Sai Baba. Is Shirdi Sai Baba limited only to Shirdi? Does he live only at Shirdi?

Is he not available anywhere else? If Baba is present only at

Shirdi who is governing the rest of the world?

Who is present outside Shirdi? Doubts of this type

may crop up in our mind. God is available everywhere. He is not confined to a

particular form, not limited to a particular time and not available only in one

place. Baba is available everywhere, at all times, all over the globe, though

is known to be living only at Shirdi. Shirdi is a spiritual center where Sai

Baba has sanctified all by his presence.

 

Life is present all over the body in every human being, but, all

parts of the body are not equal in getting respect and patronage. Only the face

and head are given respect and importance. In every other part of the body, the

same life is available, but the other parts enjoys the

high status that the head gets. Similarly the head

is to the body, Shirdi is to the world.

 

There may be a person without legs and hands, without the ears and

nose. Even if the mind is not sane, one can live. But there can't be a person

without head. When the head is chopped off, man is dead. Similarly, Shirdi is the head. Because of the head only, mind and the

heart work. The entire body is alive because of the head. If the head is cut,

life vanishes. Shirdi is like the essential head.

Therefore Baba has chosen to live there.

 

You may visit any place at will, but you cannot go to Shirdi at will unless there is Baba's call and grace, your

will and effort to visit Shirdi can't fructify.

Baba's permission, Baba's call and Baba's grace are very essential to go to

Baba (Shirdi).
