Guest guest
For every event to fructify, time, place and happening must coincide. Swami says, He know when and where, what should be given to whom. We are impatient. We do "Nama Japa" or meditation for 10 minutes, but we want immediate results like instant coffee. How is it possible? Swami has given an example of a watch or time piece. We find that the second hand moves fast and when it completes one round, the minute hand move just one point. When the minute hand completes one revolution, then the hour hand moves to the next pointer. In a watch, the hour hand is most important. Our deeds in the spiritual life are like the movement of second hand. Only with sincere, persistant and constant sadhana we may advance a little like the minute hand. Hence the proclamation "Sadadham Yoginaha"(Be always practicing yoga) Yoga is really bringing the individual self to connect the cosmic self. Always we must strive for this. Then there will be movement of the hour hand to one point. Hence we can not expect to achieve laurels with minimum effort. Sairam.
