Guest guest
In this world of duality, it is difficult to identify a real guru from a false one. Many barter the scriptural knowledge for fame and fortune. They can not be categorised as "Real Guru". In Sai Sat Charita, the difference between a false guru and real one is narrated in detail.A preceptor who can not guarantee you the results of chanting any mystic formulae can never be termed as a guru. They boast their knowledge to the disciples, gather the rich and affluent around them and revel in vanity. The disciples who approach them are unfortunate for they lose their precious time and money gathering around such pseudo gurus. The real Guru like Sai will treat the people as his own children. He will not be rest content until our ignorance vanishes. Sai knows no difference between the disciple and guru. For him both are one the same. But the guru is the embodiment of highest wisdom, the "Atma Vidya". He is able to diagonise our mental pattern and the stage at which we arrived. He enables us to raise ourselves from that stage to still higher stages. He is not after gathering many around him. Even if one true disciple is found, he is satisfied and considers it as a privelage. Hence if you are not able to trace any real gurus, rely upon your own selves, study spiritual literature. Live humbly within your resources and serve the society to the extent possible. Sairam.
