Guest guest
We are innately Divine, and hence we seek Ananda. We resent death, since we are immortal in the soul. We resent, to be stamped as fools for we are the embodiment of wisdom. But we are ignorant of the ways and means to remain in bliss. Hence, we seek the ephemeral joys, the senses convey. But when our quest for happiness is not satiated with the evanescent and fleeting pleasures, we start directing our attentions to the inner realm, under the directions of preceptors and elders. Even the scriptures proclaim the same truth. Hence little by little, we disengage ourselves from the body consciousness and mental agitations. It is not a one day affair. As long as the sense of 'individuality' remains, we are bound by the shackles of Maya. When we slowly start realising that we are part of the "all pervasive soul", we turn our attention to the real voyage within our own selves. In each birth, we are put in different roles to suit for the voyage ahead. Little by little, we are made aware of the inadequecies in our ego self. Hence our life in this earth is for evolution to higher self. Faith in the preceptor and patience are the two virtues which will lead us in the inward journey. Sairam.
