Guest guest
Madhava is only beyond Maya. In fact, Maya is an instrument in the hands of Madhava. When Dr. Hislop was conversing on the mysteries of Maya, Swami told him, that He uses Maya as a 'tong', a kitchen instrument which is used for picking hot vessels from the stove. Then Hislop asked Swami, whether the Maya will affect the Lord. Swami told him, Maya in the hands of the lord is incapable of holding the Lord. It is the Lord, who hold the Maya. However when the devotees are surrendered to the Lord, Maya is incapable of inflicting any harm to the devotees. One more example given by Swami. Maya is like a ferocious dog in the mansion of God. It won't allow anybody to enter into the mansion of God. For access, the devotee has to call the name of God from outside the gates. The moment, the Lord hears the cries of his devotees, He himself come to the gate and take the devotee with Him to the mansion. Now Maya will not cause any harm since it knows that the intruder is Lords own. Hence it will remain silent. There is one more method. You must resemble the Lord in toto. This is Sarupya. Finding that the Lord himself waits outside, the dog will wag his tail and lead you inside the mansion. But you must resemble absolutely as the Lord. Even if there is a minute difference, the dog won't leave you. Best way is to call the God, to come to the gate and take you in. Sairam.
