Swami used to say in his speaches that "In Prsanthi Nilayam, every day is "Nithya Kalyanam, Pacha thoranam". The meaning is "Every day in Prasnathi Nilayam is a festival or marriage day and the Nilayam is decorated with green mango leaves always". Let us examine the words of Bagawan. First, "Prasanthi Nilayam" connotes "Abode of Supreme Peace". Naturally in the abode of supreme peace, what else can you expect exept daily festival and fastoons? Secondly Prasanthi Nilayam is not a geographical area with boundaries. Our inner Heart(spiritual) is really Prasanthi Nilayam where Baba dwells. He swings on the Joola(when we constantly contmplate on the prema swarupa, our heart is rendered pure and Swami chooses our heart to swing like a Joola". He enjoys the joyful mood with which we contemplate on Him. Swami despises sorrow. In fact sorrow is man made or the product of illness of the mind. If the mind is trained to cling to "Madhava" it too enjoys the bliss "Madhava" confers. Mind gets illumined through the power of Atma. It is not self luminous. It is compared to the moon which gets the sun's rays reflected on its surface. We perceive it as moon's light. It has no glow inherently. It is the borrowed glow. Likewise, our mind basks on the borrowed illumination from Atma. If we realise this truth, most of our problems will be solved.Sairam.
