Guest guest
"Vibuthi"(sacred ash) is glorified in the scriptures. We have seen Swami materialising the Divine panacea everytime when some one is ill or perturbed. In fact before the commencement of each interview season, Swami used to apply the Vibuthi on our forehead brow point. Swami's touch in the forehead at the point is really a very great blessing. In the yoga sastra, the point of brow is synonymus with a chakra. When Swami touches the point, the chakra definitely gets activated. But it may take much time according to our spiritual development. In Dharsan line, we have seen Swami creating the Vibuthi many times to many people who are in the direst need of it. It is found to act as a talisman when carried in our wallet or bag. People who are ill when they consume a little vibuthi along with water has found great relief. In fact Shirdi form used to distribute the ash from the fire place to all who come for his darsan. He would apply it on the forehead of the devotees and give much on the palm of the devotees. When a foreigner happened to visit the home of an Indian devotee, he was astonished to find the decorated photo of Swami kept in an altar like place. He enquired about the person in the photo to his host. When Baba's fame was revealed to the foreigner, he requested his host to give him a momento in the memory of Saibaba. But he was given a packet of holy ash. The foreigner however did not like the gift. But he was told that whenever he was in trouble, he can take a pinch of the holy ash in his mouth and that would solve his problem. It so happened that during his return journey, he was offered a seat in economy class. To his discernment the class was full of cries of babies and this made him restless. Immediately he thought of the holy ash, he received in India from his host. He took a pinch of it in his mouth and when the plane landed in an airport, he found that his name is called in the loudspeaker. On enquiry, he found that he was offered a first class ticket for his onward journey. When he was readying himself to pay the difference in fare, he was told that the excess fair has already been paid by a gentleman. We leave it to the devotees to imagine the astonishment of the foreigner about the outcome of his test on the "Holy Ash". Sairam.
