Kasthuri, the famous biographer of Swami has penned beautifully, "Sathyam Sivam Sundaram" and other illuminating books on Sai. But for him, the English speaking people or western world may have learned little about Swami. He was the editor for "Sanathana Sarathi". He was the translator of Swami's discourses in early years. His service to Swami in the early years of advent is really a wonderful poem. His command over the English language, His fluency in Kannada and subsequently in Telugu are rare gifts to humanity. He was a teacher par excellent. He served as Principal in a very trying atmosphere in a Collage where some of the students were 'rouges and thugs'. How he managed the collage is still a mystry. It was due to Swami's grace. He was a Tamilian, brought up in Kerala worked in Mysore and settled in Andhra(Puttaparthy). Even prior to coming to Swami, He was secretary for Ramakrishna Mission and participated in several service activities in surrounding villages. He was fond of working for the upliftment of Dalits, Harijans and underprivilaged. He was truely a 'karma yogi'. His grooming under Swami's direct care is a boon to him and his family. Truely Swami took care of His entire life even before he came under Swami's physical proximity. Sairam..
