Conceit. The feeling that i am educated, employed, possessor of movable and immovable properties etc constitutes 'conceit. Many feel that it is their achievement. Who has given us intelligence and thinking feculties? Who has granted us sight and other organs of perceptions as well as the senses? Have we brought all these things by our own powers while we take birth in this world. You may be a President of a Nation. How you become? Is it your individual power? No. People elect their representatives by franchise. Hence no body can predict for certain, who will become eligible for highest Offices. We have read in news that two Prime Ministers have demited their Offices, before the conclusion of their terms. Had they been, so powerful, they could have retained their positions. All are pawns in the hands of Destiny which is our own make. Hence do not pride yourself for all the blessings God has chosen to bestow upon you. Sairam.
