Judging others is a bad trait.

Judgements are bad. Swami asks us not to judge, not to evolve, not to understand any one. Prejudice is a negative quality. God alone can judge any one. We humans should never pass any judgements on others.When we are ourselves at fault in several fields, how dare we point an accusing finger on others. A nice story was told by Baba. A scholar was travelling in a boat to reach the other bank. To pass time, he started conversing with the boat man, an illeterate. He asked him, "what is the time". The boat man feined his innocence. The scholar told him one quarter of his life is waste. Then he asked him about the news. Again the boatman has drawn blank. The scholar said one half of his life has become waste. He again asked him whether he listens to radio?. The boatman said, he is not aware of one. Then the scholar again admonished him about his ignorance of such vital things as time, news and radio. Suddenly clouds started gathering and there seems to be an impending downpour and the resultant flood in the Ganges. Now it is the turn of the boatman to ask a question. He asked the scholar, Sir, Do you know swimming? The scholar accepted his inability to swim. Then the boatman told him, Sir, your entire life is wasted in the Ganges. This story pertains to all of us. We gather unwanted knowledge about the world and other insignificant things. When we lack the real aim of our life in theis mundane world and knowledge of our existense, there is no use of our entire worldly knowledge. Sairam.
