Guest guest
Why Bajans? Why not "Namasmaran alone"? Some may develop such doubts. Congregational prayers are practiced in every religion. What is the reason? The collective consciousness of all the members who participate in the Bajans create collective vibrations that surround the place. Each person is enveloped by the collective vibe of all the people. If out of 10 people singing the Bajans, even if 5 to 6 people participate in the Bajans intensely and emotionally with the love for God, that is more than to lift all. Instead if you are practicing "Nama Japa', though beneficial to you will not be enough to create necessary positive energy so as to envelop all others. Hence all religious gatherings adopt congregational singing to create the requisite energy and vibrations amongst all in the gathering. Secondly music when directed towards Divine gets sanctified and all the people who participate swing in joy with the nectarine names of god.
