Guest guest
"Raghu vamsa Maha kavyam" written by the great poet Kalidasa, depicts the immortal story of Shri Rama. Many have enjoyed writing about Shri Rama. "Ramayate iti Ramam" (Rama pleases). Thulasidasa, Kamba, Valmiki are the other poet saints who penned the great epic in their own style. There may be minor variations in each of their writings. The master piece "Ramakatha Rasa Vahini" written by Swami is a classic and Swami has said, the book will remain sought after for thousands of years. Several anecdotes which are not found in any of the Ramayana, have been revealed by Swami emphasising the greatness of 'Sumitra' and 'Urmila'. Though these characters were not mentioned much in the Ramayana written by others, Swami beautifully narrate the greatness of such women very nicely dwelling on their silent virtues. Their sacrifice is very great. Sumitra has sent both her sons Lakshmana and Satruguna in the service of their brothers. If Rama is taken as the Flag of Dharma, Lakshmana served as the flag post. The dearness of each to their brothers have been finely and eloquently expressed by Swami. Hence study the great book slowly and assimilate the finer points and adopt it in your life. Sairam.
