Guest guest
As a man stricken with Malaria fever, can not find taste, so also the man sickened with worldly thoughts can not taste Divinity. He should be cured of the worldliness in order to taste or realise the Divine. A match stick fell in the water, can not catch fire.It should be dry enough to catch fire once scratched against the match box. Hence a worldly mind can not catch wisdom or absorb it. Wisdom is anathma to such mind. Hence Swami also has said that we should not waste our energy, teaching spirituality to the worldly minded people. They may listen but they will not absorb it. They are like rocks in which no plant can sprout. Our mind should be like the clayey soil wherein water can be retained. A sandy stretch is porus. No water can be retained in it. Hence we have to empty the worldly thoughts from our mind so that god can fill divine thoughts in us. Sairam.
