Guest guest
Once in the old Prasanthi Mandir, Swami was answering a Question by the Late Shri.V.K.Gokak as to whether it wrong for Sri Krishna to tell Arjuna to kill Karna and for Lord Rama to kill Vali ?, Swami wonderfully said : Vali was one of the greatest Warriors in the Ramayana, he had no parallel in any form of battle, He could defeat anybody, He could have got Sitadevi immediately by defeating Ravana and give her back to Rama, But Lord Rama wanted to show by Divine example to everyone that Power is not everything in this world, Love for others, Respect for others is also important, Why Did Ramachandra kill Vali from Behind?, Was it not wrong ?, Vali was no match for Lord Rama anyway, It was to tell everyone that If your life is bad and if you are immersed in wordly pleasures then you will go astray , Your end will also be bad, Vali understood when Ramachandra told him that "He had wasted his Life in pleasures and shown only vengenance towards his Brother and that he had to end his Life like this". The same words that Lord Krishna used when Karna had fallen in the Battlefield. Divine Lessons for all times. Om Sai Ram
