Guest guest
Shri Ramana Maharishi emphasises on enquiry into ' who am I'. This is a profound question. Actually we are not what we assume, viz., body, mind, intellect, senses, ego. Hence Shri Ramana has compiled a list of what we are NOT. After negating what we are NOT, what remains finally as "consciousness" is our real identity. But this consciousness can not be defined. It is an abstract thing. Words can never explain it. The mind can never reach it. If it reaches, it will loose its separate identity. As a river, when merges in the sea, loose its seperate name and identity and become one with the ocean, our individuality will merge in the supreme consciousness once for all once we remove the barriers.
