Utter truth which is pleasing.

Words are potent. It can cause joy as well as sorrow. Hence Swami often says, "our words should give solace to the listener. We should not cause sorrow in the mind of listener by our talks. Even truth has to be uttered only when it will not cause any harm to any body. It would be better to remain silent, when you feel that by uttering truth, some body will be harmed. "Sathyam bruyath, Priyam bruyath, (Speak the truth which is pleasing, Do not utter such truth which will harm). Hence do not be adamant in revealing the truth which will cause harm to many. Sairam.
