Guest guest
We term many as 'learned' or expert or guru in their field. Even in western countries, experts are termed as 'marketing guru' management guru' etc. Yes, they might have researched extensively in their field and they become naturally eligible for the credential. But who is a real Guru. Swami has said,'gu' represents 'gunadeeta' (beyond attributes), 'ru' means 'ruparahita' or beyond form'. In another meaning 'guru' is taken to 'dispell darkness'. The real Guru is one who is able to remove the "agnan" or ignorance in the individual. He takes you straight towards truth or god. Hence instead of aspiring for the title of 'guru' in mundane sense, we should aspire to become real disciple to the great guru Dakshinamurthy, who imparts knowledge through silence. Sairam.
