Guest guest
Fire invariably burns everything that comes into contact with it. Knowledge(Gnana) also burns the ignorance and mistakes when it dawns in human intellect. Once realised, men is aware of the illusory nature of the world and its pleasures. The wisdom will educate him to realise that the worldly existence is pure misery. The thoughts are tormentors. Hence all who seek wisdom should abhor thoughts. All thoughts are distractions whether we consider it as good or bad. In fact a pellucid surface of a lake is disturbed even if a small stone is thrown into it. Likewise thoughts are akin to stones thrown on the surface of a lake. The only way to slow down thinking is to observe all thoughts that arises as a mute witness. Be indifferent to the thoughts. Do not act upon it. Sairam.
