Guest guest
Saints and philosophers advocate a thoughtless stage. We have all might have experienced the agitations of the mind more often. Sometimes when the thoughts slow down, we experience a peculier peace. If slowing down of thought process itself could contribute to our peace, how much more joy or peace we would experience when thought process ceases absolutely. In the stage, you are one with Divine. Actually thoughts are great obstructions in spirituality. For sadhnas to fructify, a thoughtless stage is a pre requisite. When thoughts interfere during sadhana, the mind will hanker for results. When you are anxious about the results, the sadhana fails miserably. One way to achieve this stage is to start observing the thoughts as a mute witness. Do not get entangled with them. Be indifferent to the thought process. This way, thoughts would tend to slow down and at one stage thought process would stop. But it may take quite some time. Till such time, develop the witness attitude. Sairam.
