Guest guest
We misconstrue that taking rest from myriad tasks is really freedom. No. Swami has said, "Change of work is Rest". If you are fed up with a particular tiresome task, switch over to some other task which seeks your attention. We do Bhajans for a maximum of one hour or so. Then we perform 'Arati'. Then we go in for a short walk upto the 'Meditation tree'. We may spend another 30 minutes or so. Then we ascend further to visit the Old Museum. Another one and half hour passed in ecstacy. We come back to the canteen, have our food and go to the dormitory for a short nap. Now we wake up to see our watch. It is nearing 2.30 PM. We have to rush back to the Mandir for afternoon Dharsan. Likewise we get interest in all our activities. In food also, we get varieties, like Chapati, subji, curd rice, lemon rice etc. Hence we develop hunger and taste. If you have to eat only curd rice throughout, you will become mad. Hence when you are bogged down by streotype work change to some other work. Don't try to take rest. Switch over to some other work. Then life will become tolerable. Sairam.
