Guest guest
We may possess a passport. But we need visa to visit a foreign country. The visa has to be issued by the foreign country and it can not be obtained locally. It is a permit for us to visit their country for a specific period for a specific purpose. It may be a tourist visa or business trip or educational or research trip. It may be few months to few years. Once the visa expires, we will have to make our return journey before the expiry of visa. In the realm of spirituality also there are such regulations but they are not paper permits. It is the Permit of the Supreme for every one of us to reside in our self. By merely possessing a body with feculties and an inclination for spiritual activities constitute a passport. But the Visa has to be granted by God alone. It is not a temporary visa. Once you reach the Divine realm, there is no question of return to our body, mind region. Shri Ramana Maharish and sages alike were constantly in the Divine Consciousness, though they have not shed their mortal coil. They were "Jeevan Mukthas". They were realised souls though embodied. That is a rare gift. However we must aspire to get the Visa from "Visveswara". Hence we must apply for the same either through service or sacrifice or meditation or a combination of all these.
