Guest guest
A photo exhibition was organized by a Kashmiri Hindus' Organization (Pannun Kashmir) in Mumbai recently. This Exhibition was not about art. It laid bare the naked Truth about state of Hindus in Kashmir. Named 'Sakshatkaar' (An Interview with truth) it was the first authentic expression of separatism activity in the Kashmir Valley. The organizers showed courage in displaying over 100 photographs of plunder, destruction of Hindu Temples, atrocities by Muslims and torture of Hindus. The exhibition showed photographs of broken idols, desecrated Temples, mangled human bodies, Kashmiri Hindus camping in refugee tents – exiled in their own land! The photographs depicted the destruction of a civilization and a culture. Almost half a million Kashmiri Hindus now enter 16th year of forced exile from their homes in Kashmir, yet the Government of India continues with its appeasement of secessionist Muslim elements in Kashmir.
