Guest guest Posted August 1, 2007 Report Share Posted August 1, 2007 During the discourse of Guru Poornima Swami gave the new Elephant new name. Now the elephant is called "Sathya Gheeta". One of the Vip's for Guru Poornima was Former Prime Minister Mr.Deva Gowda who was here for Swami's blessings and to be present during the event. Not many events happen outside on the main road in Puttaparthi. But there was a rally by the students of Swami's institute and the delegates of the World Youth Conference. The marching bands from Swami's institute were accompanying the rally. It was a treat for the local residents. There were youth from all over the world in the rally who were here also to participate in the World Youth Conference.
