Five Hindu families were killed in a terrorist attack in the Rajouri district of JK. Likewise, idols of deities in a temple at Kakoda, Goa were destroyed. In order to protest against these attacks on Hindu Dharma and bring it to the attention of the Government, the HJS staged an agitation through a demonstration near Customs House at Panaji. At this time, the HJS' Goa State Spokesperson Dr. Manoj Solanki affirmed, "If atrocities are inflicted on Hindus, then we will not stop just by giving memorandums but will come out on the streets!
