Fire is pure and blemishless. God is akin to fire.

We suffer because of fear. We imagine certain catastropes that may befall us in future. We have undergone many troubles in the past. Hence we imagine a bleak future. All this is false. These are all the imaginations of the monkey mind. When we let loose the mind, it will hover around the world in a thrice. Hence we must keep a check on the imaginations of the mind. Mind is just like a magician's wand. It will conjure things out of emptiness. But they are all false. We are caught in the fancy of the world which entices us into believing everything as true. What we gather through the senses is absolutely false information. It is like smoke out of fire. Fire is real whereas smoke that emanates from the fire is false. Likewise God is Fire, pure and blemishless. It won't allow anything to come near it. Once something get the contact of fire, it will get reduced to ash in no time. Fire will never tolerate any blemish. Its only quality is glowing(light) and burning(the sins of the individual). Hence Swami says "Once you get near me, there will be more chances for you to get burnt. Hence mother Sita agreed to undergo "Agnipravesa" and emerged blemishless. The fire god himself asserted the purity of the mother to the world and thus Shri Rama accepted mother Sita. Sairam.
