Guest guest
Some may doubt, "How it is possible for the Self to pervade the cosmos and transcend it and at the same time immanent in it. Yes, it is quiet possible. The sea, the waves, the foam generated due to the force of coming and going, raising and falling of the waves, all contain the seawater only. Outwardly the waves and foam look different from the sea, but essentially are one. Due to the effect of wind and sun, the waves raise and fall. At times the ocean remain calm bereft of any wind force. Hence everything arises in the self and fall back in the self just like the pictures that come and go on the screen. The screen is unaffected. Likewise, the sea is unaffected by the waves and foams. But for the sea, no wave or foam can be seen. Likewise, but for the base screen, no pictures can be projected. This is the essense of Advaita philosophy. The Real "I" is the base on which the drama of life is projected. We behold the sceneries but fail to perceive the "I". Sairam.
