Guest guest
Human mind is very peculier. It always seeks from outside. It never relinquishes its possessions. Hence humanity undergoes more suffering. Gathering more weight is really a burden. But people go on gather more and more weight that ultimately they crumble under the burden of their own weight. This happens to one and all without any distinction. Hence the adage, "Less luggage, more comfort, make travel a pleasure". Now what are the things that constitute as burdens in our journey? First the relationship we gather due to our own folly and desires. First he was single, He had only two legs and the movement was quicker. Then he desired for a wife. Now it is four legs. The movement is hampered. You might have heard about the "four legged race in the sports events of schools. One each of the leg of each student is tied to the other. Now they can not run freely, they have to hop keeping their other leg tied to the other student. Then what to talk about a wife who almost occupy more than 50% of your brain. Then comes the children. One or two. Accordingly the number of legs multiply. The man originally free become a quarterped and ultimately centiped. What a pity? Has god asked him to marry and lead such sorrowful existence? The above anecdote is from one of the discourses from Baba. Hence try to have less luggage in the journey of life. You may do your legitimate duties in the family. But do not feel attached to the tasks. Just do it for the sake of duty. "Love All but do not believe any body in the world and also do not hate anybody"--Baba
