Guest guest
A true search is the search within the self and not outside oneself. The outside searches are like 'mirages', which entice you to seek it whereas it moves away as one try to approach it. In a desert, we seek the elixir 'water' to quench our thirst. You visualise a sheet of water. You approach it with eagerness. Then you find that it is a phantom and not real. You are exhausted by your running behind it in the hot sun in the sandy dunes. Identical is our life in this world. We are chasing the illusory false images seeking pleasures from them, viz., power, position, properties and progeny. However mighty one may be, however affluent one may be, ultimately he ends in deep despair. Hence the first lesson in spirituality is to know the difference between "Real and false". The Real is the SELF. The false is the phenomena we perceive outside. Hence realise the real and ignore the false. Sairam.
