Guest guest
What I have achieved by incessant learning of spiritual lessons, when i do not put them into actual practice? Mere reading of many philosophical books and literature makes our brain like the book stacks in the library. The stack simply accommodate the volumes of books of wisdom. What it gains except 'rust'. Hence put one or two lessons learned from such books into actual practice and see how much you improve. The Bagawat Gita contains around 700 stanzas sung by the Lord. Take any one stanza, study it deeply, assimilate it and follow it truthfully in life. It is equivalent to one match stick from a match box. It is enough to start fire in an oven. Swami has commented about the tendency of people who visit Prasanthi Nilayam very nicely. They take Dharsan, listens to the discourses of Swami with deep concentration. They praise them as very valuable lessons. The moment they reach the Bus station to board the bus, their thoughts hover around their kith and kin in their native place and their welfare. Hence we should not bound Prasanthi Nilayam to a few hectares of land and buildings. In fact we should convert our heart into "Prasanthi Nilayam" so that we will have all time contact with our 'Sai' wherever we go and whatever we do. Sairam.
