Guest guest
It is said that on every rice or wheat grain is written the name of the person who will consume the same. I do not know how far it is correct. But one thing in this world is certain. Every thing is pre destined or pre determined. I am not telling this to discourage but to enlighten the members to accept whatever comes to them. It may be bitter or sweet. Neverthless, it is Prasad of Swami. A small example. A mother sometimes administer castor oil or bitter concoctions to the child so that it will purge the dirt inside. Hence we are also administered the bitter medicines of sorrows or troubles by Swami for our own spirutual growth. Mind can not be corrected with minor treatments or loving advices. For instance a hand kerchif soiled can be easily washed by applying soap and washing within few minutes. But the bed sheets or bed spreads needs thorough soaking in detergents for hours in hot water and it needs the beatings by washerman on the washing ghats. Then only the accumulated dust and dirts are removed. Our mind is soiled by many experiences of past incarnations, desires etc. It is polluted by Kama, Krodha, Moha, Mada and Matsarya (six inner enemies like lust, anger, attachment, ego and jealosy). Hence simple washing is not enough. It needs atonement in the form of Keertans, Namasmaran, Bhajans, Service activities, adopting Satwik way of life, Non violence, Selfless loving service to the poor and downtroddent etc. Hence let us follow the ideals shown by Swami and uplift ourselves from this mundane existence.
