The subject is Self and the object is Universe. The object has no relevance without a subject. Try to form a sentence without a subject. It will be meaningless. The subject can remain alone any longer. But an object owe its existence to a subject. Emptiness or Nothing exists for ever. But something can exist only in Nothing or empty space. Hence Swami says "Nothing contains everything'. This empty palm of mine contains all things. When mother Easwaramba was anxious to know how Swami is the repository of all wealth and all gold, she was asked to peep in the steel cup board. There was nothing inside. When she started returning she could not take even a single step for the entire place was pure gold and she hesitated how to put her feet on gold which is Lakshmi.
