Guest guest
First of all there is nothing to be realised for we are already Self realised. It is the false idea that we are yet to realise' has to be removed from our mind. Shri Ramana used to emphasize this point very often. When Swami Amrutananda of Ramanashram visited Prasanthi Nilayam, Swami accosted him as 'Amrutham' as he used to be accosted by Ramana Maharishi. Swami also narrated a ritual Amrutananda undertook when he was a boy of 7. In fact he performed a yagna to proptiate 'Maha Ganapathi'. When Swami narrated the episode and asked him, "what the scriptures promise the performer at the end of the ritual? Amrutananda told Baba that "Mahaganapathi in golden form will emanate from the Homa to give Divine Dharsan" However Amrutananda told Baba "how a lad of 7 expect to get such benign Dharsan?. Immediately Swami asked him to look at Him. Lo! There stood Maha Ganapathi in Golden mein". Swami told him it is the fruition of his performance when he was 7 years old, now it fructified in the coveted Dharsan of Ganapathi as promised in scriptures. Hence nothing will go waste in spiritual sadhana. Sairam.
