Guest guest
To day is Thursday, being Swami's day. Why Thursday alone is Swami's day? Are the other days are not His? All days and all moments are His only. Thursdays are generally reserved for Guru worship, Lord Dakshinamuthy is adored more on Thursday. It is also known as 'Bruhaspathivar' in Hindi. The preceptor of Devas, 'the venerable Bruhaspathi' is also venerated on this day. Naturally Thursdays assume greater significance throughout the globe when Sai Bajans, Satsangs etc are conducted on this day. Even in the predictions about Swami, it is written that 'Thursdays are days of special worship of the Avatar Saibaba. On such holy days atleast we should thirst for Sai's grace. We should remember Him, repeat his name, and do some selfless service. Now we pray for ourselves, our family and kith and kin. Instead we should pray 'Lokas Samasthas Sukino Bhavantu'. With this prayer we are also automatically included. Hence always pray for the welfare of the world, the cosmos etc. Sairam.
