Guest guest
Why should we learn all unnecessary things? Learn to love, learn to share, learn to serve, learn to live in peace, learn to abhor violence, and learn to have faith in the supreme. These are the vital things we should learn in life. The secular education will earn you bread. The spiritual education will make you to live in peace. Swami always asks us to cultivate five virtues in life. They are vital like "Pancha Pranas (Five vital breaths) what are they? They are `Sathyam(Truth), Dharma(Righteousness), Santhi(Peace), Prema(Love),Ahimsa(Non violence). Without these virtues our life will be virtual waste. You may earn cores of rupees. You may acquire properties worth in lakhs. You may have earned the highest degrees from foreign Universities. Unless you are well established in basic human virtues, your entire earning, properties and education is of no value in the world. For instance if some of your kith and kin is seriously ill, you may provide the best treatment in a costly nursing home. But no Doctor however efficient he may be in Medical field can save him, if the allotted time span is over. We have read in Newspapers, several dignitaries pass away in spite of treatment in superspeciality hospitals. Hence our life is not in our hand. With the available time, let us learn to love our poor and downtrodden brethren in society and serve them with our best capacity and intentions. God will bless us profusely if we start using our resources for the `have nots' Let us feed them, cloth them and assure them the basic education. Sairam.
