Swami's ways are inscrutable. He keeps us in suspended animation.

We are kept in suspended animation whenever we pray to Swami. Yes, Swami's ways are unpredictable. He will keep you in suspense until the last moment. That does not mean he has no mercy. He is kind hearted and live incarnate. But he is in the habit of always testing his devotees. When we take Dharsan of Swami, we swear that we will become upright and religious and shed our false personality, the ego. When we turn back to our house, all our inborn qualities stay put. We are not able to keep up any promise made to the Divine. Why this weakness? No, we should be stubborn and honour our promises to Swami. How can we say one thing to Swami, and do the opposite? We should relinquish such negative tendencies within us. Then only we will get full grace. For those who are fickle minded, pray intensely to Swami to grant you steadiness. It is a great virtue. Steady in our pursuit of good and noble things. I am also unsteady. But Swami see to it that we are delivered from these negativities once for all. Hence the treatment is tough. We are not even aware whether Swami listens to our woes. But He is seated in us, in our heart. He hears the lowest wishper of the mind. Do not worry. Hold on to Him till He grants your heart's desire. Sairam.
