Guest guest
There was a great devotee, nicknamed as "Pedda Pottu". The nick name struck her because of her applying very large "Pottu"(vermilon mark on the centre of the brows). She had been fortunate to see both Saibabas in flesh and blood. In fact it is Shirdi Sai who has predicted to her, that when He takes birth the next time in Madaras Rashtram(At that time Andhra Pradesh was part of unified Madras State), she would visit him and can stay with Him. After the Maha Samadhi of Shirdi form, she left Shirdi and was wandering here and there for a while. She founded one Ashram for destitute children, and to sustain them, she was performing "Burra Kathas"(Musical discourses about sages, saints and god) Twenty years after Baba's passing away, she happened to visit "Urava konda" and hearing about one Sathya Sai, she visited the place where he was staying. She could not recognise any "Sai" here. But Sathyam called her as "Gori" in the same way Shirdi Baba used to accost her. She was still in doubt. Swami told her that She is due to him 16 rupees. When she was confused, He narrated the event. She collected Rs 40/ to be sent to Baba(Shirdi). But some how she sent only Rs.24/- with him. Hence this new Baba reminded her about the balance just to convince her about the identity of both Babas. Sathya Sai told her she has not even prostrated before him when she entered the room. At that instant "Pedda Pottu" caught hold of the tender feet of Swami and cried to her Heart's content. Swami pecified her asked her to come to Puttaparthy. She stayed in the presence of Parthi Baba for the reminder of her life and passed away peacefully. Sairam.
