I have heard people discussing about the dresses worn by Saibaba of Shirdi and Parthi. In fact M.S. Dixit, whose uncle was Kaka Saheb Dixit once went to Shirdi when he was young but he was suffering from migrane head aches. When Sai baba saw him, he applied Vibuthi but slapped the boy. The boy, M.S.Dixit was quite upset at the slap. But his uncle pecified him saying it is an indirect blessings from Baba. And the boy was cured from the migrane head aches after Baba slapped him. Having heard about Sathya Sai Baba, M.S.Dixit visited Whitefield and he was not convinced about the Divinity of Baba. He thought that Shirdi Baba was humble and wore tottered and worn out clothe, whereas Parthi Sai was wearing silk gown and looks like a cinema star. To the surprise of M.S.Dixit, Sai baba was just narrating the very thoughts of Dixit in his discourse. He was referring that some people in the audience thinks about Sai, as a cinema star, wearing costly silk cloths etc. However still Dixit was not convinced. But during the interview, Swami picked up a photo of Kaka Saheb from the pocket of M.S.Dixit and told him, that the photo was of Kaka Saheb Dixit. Immediately Dixit realised the Divine nature of Baba and he was fortunate to serve as a gate keeper in white field. Sairam.
