Guest guest
A calm nature and composture is a must for all. Agitations distort our vision. We are agitated by thoughts which turn into desires and resolutions ensues. When there are apprehensions regarding the fructification of desires fear emanates in the mind and ultimately the 'myness' suffer. If we are weightless, then we can remain at peace. Here weight connotes more desires. Hence a desireless man remains happy. When the thinking process slows down, we get a subtle joy. It can be slowed down by mere observance or witnessing the thoughts without provoking any reactions to it. Easier to tell and write. To observe the mind is a technique. It is just like watching a cinema. We know it is only pictures passing through the scenes. Hence we are not unduly agitated. If we give up body consciousness, that itself is a very good begining. Practice and succeed. Sairam.
