I have studied almost all books on great saints and philosophers

like Shri Ramana, Shri Ramakrishna, Shri Vivekananda, Shirdi Sai and

Parthi Sai. I was a voracious reader. Whether it is retained is next

question. Whether any thing is practiced is the most important question.

To highlight this mistake, swami told me one day after the conclusion of

interview, you make your brain like a rack, reading a lot. I understood

the significance. Atleast one or two good things I study must be put

into practice. It was not such easy. It took me another 3 decades to try

practicing swami's spiritual instruction. But I feel it is never too

late before we enter into mother's womb once again. Slowly i start with

'Namasmarana' whenever i feel inclined. See, mind is really mad and

intoxicated 'Monkey'. Hence it won't let you practice good things.

Whenever you attempt, it distracts you very easily putting forth upteen

reasons. We have to hand over this mischivous 'Monkey' to Swami to mend

it. Sairam.
