Guest guest
First have FAITH. Then have PATIENCE. This is the foremost advise of Sai Baba to his devotees. Even after having that faith are you waiting patiently without getting perturbed. For many of us, it seems a bit taxing. No doubt we have the faith, but to wait patiently, we must have complete control over the mind. It never allow us to be patient. It creates all sort of doubts. Whether the 'waiting' is worth? It may increase our miseries. These kind of thoughts often pesture the devotees. Only a courageous man only can withstand the onslaught of sorrows. These are some of the misgivings we undergo. Yes, to test us is one of the duties of our Guru. When we undergo such tests, the mental turbulations pulls us in all diverse directions. One who hold his feet tightly will stand the tests. But do not bother. Even if we fail, it is for him to make us courageous and steadfast in our faith. When we drive a nail on the wall to hang a photo of Sai, don't we shake it a little to test whether it is nailed sufficiently inside to withstand the hanging of photo? What is wrong when Sai himself test us in this manner. Do not be sad since all tests promote us to higher standard in spirituality. Sairam.
