CHAPTER

43 Carry the one thought with you, always, at every moment, "The Lord watches me, constantly - I will never be able to hide the smallest untruth from Him". Be aware, My child, for the Lord knows your every intent - He knows, for you use the divine energy to formulate the thought, hence, He is present before, during and after the completion of the thought process. Thoughts are critical, for they not only lead you to be in a state that is spiritually elevating or disturbing, but they have within, the power to truly lead you in the direction from which they arise. Hence, My child, do not simply dismiss a bad thought - do not forgive yourself, easily, by giving the excuse that it was only a

thought - Yes! Only a thought and that you actually caused no hurt or pain. Remember, My dear, that that is the beginning of the illusion, for the evil thought that was not uprooted and chased at the very moment that it arose, will later haunt you and tease you. An evil thought, My child, that is only pushed aside will continue to whisper softly, convincing you to believe in its weakening strength, and one day, it will be so much louder that you will choose to hear its voice over the inner voice of the Lord. That is the beginning, My sweet, of the voluntary wrong. I say, voluntary, for you choose to keep the demon hidden - you choose to give it a home - you choose to feed it - it is only you that chooses the evil to manifest, itself, within you. Hence, let it not be able to even sow its seed in your mind - do not allow even a single root to take its place within you. The fruits of evil may appear tempting, but the one that tastes

it, knows the bitterness it can leave upon your tongue. The nature of evil is to tempt - its ways may seem easy - but know, My child, that the only thing that is easy is being tempted into the wrong - carrying the wrong, wiping the wrong, fighting the wrong after the performance of the wrong, becomes very difficult, My child! You tell Me that you have no strength to control the thoughts of evil within you. If you do not have the strength to control the thoughts, then tell Me, how will you find the strength to sustain them? Keeping the thought is much worse, My child, so leave them, before they eagerly find a room in your life. Whatever high education you may receive, however talented you may be in your worldly activities, if you are not able to keep the thoughts straight and the mind clean, then know, My dear, that all work will, eventually suffer, all success will eventually fail, and all the richness you

have gathered will begin to fade. The strength behind success is the power of a strong mind. By strong, I do not mean dominating, but I speak of the strength that recognizes his inner enemies, fights them and defeats them, much before his peace can ever be touched. The Lord's Grace descends, only when you have awakened yourself to receive the flow of His Divine current. Hence, do not blame the Lord that He has not come to help you control you way of thinking. Let prayer become the breath - your constant contact with God will frighten the evil in every thought. Be controlled in your speech, speak less, and you will give your thoughts a lesser chance to manifest, itself, without your control. Do not react to anything immediately - there is nothing that needs an immediate response. Immediate response is only the pressure of fear that one feels within his mind. So stay silent, gather your calmness, and then, when the

emotion is under control, one will surely find that right response. When thoughts, My child, are forced to remain within, without manifestation, they wither. Remember, always, that you can think - but you are not the thought. The impurity of a bad thought cannot touch you, until you have accepted it. You are the master of the mind - the trainer of every thought. The whip is in your hand. Bruise the bad thought, before it wounds and maims you for life. You have come with all control - you have come with all perfection. Do not expect from your self or from life any lesser. Think only the highest - think only the best - only then, will one live the higher life - only then, will one give his best, and receive the best! The best way of living life is living with the highest ideals!
