CHAPTER

40 The pain one feels in his heart, today, is the result of one's own chosen way of thinking - one's own chosen way of living his life and one's own stubbornness in choosing to comprehend life separate from God. Realize, O child of God, that the inner pain one suffers is not the attack of the Lord, the Lord never rebels, My child - His nature is love - only love, and hence, inflicting pain upon you is not His method of teaching. The pain is the scar of the wrongs that you have committed in ignorance - I say ignorance, for even the one that sees himself consciously doing the wrong is still not aware of his own state of super consciousness that is always in link with the light of the glorious

truth. Yes! Each one is endowed with the same knowledge - yet, each one stands on a different step of its understanding. Let not one cling to his sins of the past, for the determination to change will only weaken. By switching on one light, the darkness of several ages can be wiped out by its existing brightness. Why wallow in self-pity, complain and constantly remember the past fears - the past insecurities - the past unfairness - the past weaknesses - the past attacks. Remembrance of such experiences will make you unaware of the light that shines brightly in the present. Every sin has a term of penance - repent, then correct the wrong, forever, by reforming and never repeating the same wrong, ever. Remember the past less, My child, the strength to make the present better and brighter will surely come. Do not be afraid nor embarrassed, if the world still remembers your past - know that

the Divine Master is aware of your state of self-disgust - He knows your heart better than anyone - He believes in your change much more than the closest one you love - He supports your way of life much more than your very own. Hence, lean on that strength, My child, and make the sins of the past disappear like a dream - Yes! Like a nightmare that left upon the awakening! Develop a strong will, My dear - develop the conviction that in whatever you do - I am inseparable - with such conviction, one will see simple perfection and the presence of God in whatever he does. Do not let the grounds of faith and devotion shake, ever. In fact, stir every atom and being of your existence with your sturdiness and stability, and the Lord within will break His silence to lead you, forever, in the home where you and He belong as one. Do not simply stand and hope for the big

miracle to come. The hope is only the inspiration, but until inspiration becomes the reality, until then, one will only fear that his dream of perfection is too far, beyond his actual reach. Remove the barriers of mental laziness - there is nothing you cannot do. Know that when you cannot do it, it is simply that you have pre-decided and pre-judged your limitations upon the task. Let not the worldly temptation break the courage and the strength of determination you carry and awaken. Reason with yourself, before you leap in its empty palms. Fight, My child, for the easy path will, too, have the easy fall. Depend upon the voice of your own heart - do not be swayed by the advice of several other minds that have yet to learn the true way. Be confident and realize that you are gifting yourself with a new promise - a new chosen life and no one can take that away from you, ever. Do not lose

your peace, anymore, do not depend upon peace coming only after the perfect action. Realize that peace must come first - only then will the action shine with its undoubted poise. Meditate upon the Mother, at all times - pray from the heart and the complexity of the mind will relax in Her simple lead.
