Guest guest
CHAPTER 39 Each life, itself, carries the Lord, yet, one is unfortunate, for all but a chosen few, attach themselves more to the short term pleasures and possessions, rather than seeking, finding and existing in the bliss of one's own inner contentment. One is foolishly happy in being the richest beggar, rather than being the true owner and giver of all. The power of money, fame and position has made one ferocious with worldly ambitions. The run for power is so competitive that even two brothers, born from the womb of the same mother, fight and grab from each other the last bit of bread. None are truly hungry for the food - the hunger is only to compete and to take away from each other the source of the spiritual nourishment, i.e., peace! What a pity, My child, for suffering is self caused - the punishment and outcome of the suffering is, too, to be only self-endured! Stop, My dear! Stop this madness! Why run for that which emanated only from you. Why do you hope and pray for the impermanent gifts that can be given easily and taken away, much more easily. Why must you be the collector of that which buys you only more restlessness, and lets you expend all the divine energy that is filled within you. How can you be proud of that gift that is ultimately and surely destructible? Possessions are the temporary joys of those that are yet to know and experience the inner God. For, the one that has found the inner self, will know that he can possess nothing - not even God - he simply exists in the Divine Glory! If money truly made you the rich man, then the Divine Mother, who sent all, would send each one with the coin of gold. But no, the newborn comes to this world with an empty, tight fist, for it is determined not to receive the illusionary wealth of this perishable kingdom. The Divine Mother sends Her child with the wealth of divine virtues, with the light of fulfilling love and with Her own inner voice within him that constantly guides his journey of time in the limited age of the body. Money, My sweet, is only the demon that gives one the false sense of power. One can purchase with it stone or metal, but it can never buy you the strength of goodness, it can never offer you the ultimate security of real peace. It is only a source, My child, that brings into one bad thinking, it is only an instigator of wrong actions, it is only a collector of worries, it is the cause of the heart's destruction, it is the doom of the purpose of man's existence! Do not ever depend upon your desires, My child. Such dependence will make you want until the last breath, and life will have to return to this prison, once again, to serve another life time sentence. Work hard, My child, work hard not to earn the wealth of the gold coins, but to keep the mind in check, to keep the body fit and healthy and to keep the soul fulfilled in its given task. Do not ever worry as to how much wealth you have - know and believe that you came with all of it. You have come to use it by spreading it, sharing it, giving it and thereby, increasing the name, the faith and the glory of the Lord's world within and around you. Do not lean on any part of this world, or it will leave its mark of impurity upon you. You, My child, are the pillar of God - you must only stand upon your own foundation. Your foundation is the strength of your life that is linked in the constant awareness of My truth. Beware, My sweet, for wherever you smell the foul odor of money, move - move away, and run to the world of God, where He is the Giver and you are ever, the only receiver!Source : LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD (Volume II/Part I) Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan
