CHAPTER

38 The one that can withstand every situation and can react to it with no turbulence of the mind, will experience the power and stability of divine strength that is within him. Leaving all judgments, breaking the shell of one's stubborn selfishness, one must calm the coming of the raging storm. Never leave the strength of prayer, never become lazy, even for a single moment and give up the chosen spiritual discipline, for the strength of these must be spontaneously utilized at the moment the mind decides to leave the chosen course. At such a moment of unrest, where the mind defies and teases the love of the heart and the truth of the soul, one must stay affirmed in his faith for his

Mother. Yes! Stay firm, let the intellect choose the voice of the conscience - the mind, My child, will wither in its own fears, and you will realize that you are unbeatable by the threat of any fear - you will experience that your will can straighten the entanglement of life with its webs and desires - you will feel that the response of God comes from within you and through no other source. Hence, smile, My sweet, for any situation can hold the threat - but you hold the truth and the truth, My child, is untouchable! Stay firm, I say, for even the slightest flinch of doubt and fear is easily recognized by the mind. It is only the power of goodness that can bend and recognize the most hidden love even in the wicked and the evil. Hence, do not be afraid to bend - those that are led by the atma will never break - their bending is merely the symbol of their acceptance of all as the one. If anger comes your

way, smile - smile with love, pour the love with eyes of compassion, and the anger you encounter will quieten, with shame. If greed comes your way - give - give it all you have, My child. When it has no more to grab, it will lose its purpose and will bow before the strength of charity. There is no evil that can ever control you. You are controlled, for only you have willed your own destruction! Have faith in God - whatever He gives, is what you need - in whatever you face, there is a hidden gift of His grace - whatever He takes away, is never untimely. Have faith, and only then will you see that when the reigns of life are in His hands, you, My child, are the safest. Do not question - do not attempt to comprehend, for even the answers will make sense only at the given right time. Unity with God is not by prayer, but it is when one faces life in

complete harmony with His strength and His will. The wealth of God is easy to find, once you know that you are the container of the divine treasure. The entire knowledge of God is within you. Learn by your own self - the lesson will leave the biggest impact upon your life. God has come, for you have taken birth - God is alive, for you are living - God is speaking in your every prayer - God is guiding your every task - God is rejoicing in your spiritual success - Yes!
