Guest guest
CHAPTER 30 The relationship between you and God is like that of the switch and the current. Put the switch in the "on" position, and the current will begin to flow. Be filled with God, My dear, be ever in the receptive mode, and you are bound to be filled with the ecstasy of His miraculous manifestations. Seclude yourself from life's desires, and you will begin to experience a fleeting glimpse of the nature of your own existence. Once you begin to know and see clearly the truth that life holds, you will, willingly and voluntarily, shut the eyes of selfishness and will reach out for the vision that beholds the promise of perfection - that enwraps you in the fragrance of purity and that brings to you the platter of the true gems of wisdom. It is easy to find God, My child, once you believe that to be the sole purpose of your search. Many a time, one begins his search with the promise of devotion, but unfortunately, at some point, loses his concentration, gives up his strength of perseverance, believes in the teasing of the impatient mind, and turns around, hopelessly, to walk back into the prison of his own desires, leaving the Master of his life waiting and hoping that, one day - one life, he will, once again, attempt to open the doors of the unlocked prison and will find the will within him to seek the love that will make his coming, truly purposeful! The biggest fault in devotion is when one thinks of his love to be bigger than faith. For a true devotee, My child, the tests never end - Be prepared - for the closer you come to God, the bigger the leaps you will have to venture. Be grateful, not for what He gives you during this role you play - but instead, be grateful for being given the chance, be thankful for being sane to have accepted this role, be humble for being the chosen one to endure the pain for Him. Take every opportunity He throws your way. Do not let comparison or judgments rob you of your own spiritual rewards. The true spiritual aspirant will see every event of his life as His calling - His subtle hint - His message and His love! For devotion to be perfect, all time must be Mine. The true devotee rests only at the Feet of the Lord - and My Feet will rest, only when I carry his burdens, completely and fully. Change, My child, the way of thinking, and all will be well. It is nothing other than thoughts that are bad. The heart, My dear, cannot express its purity, when the mind is impure. Bad thoughts occur, only when one is feeling insecure, or feeling that he is being attacked or being robbed of that which makes him happy. The root of all bad thoughts carries one's own selfish desires. Hence, uproot the impurity of the thought by releasing the self from that desire, and face the unknown insecurity. You will only relieve the self from the fear that had no reality, but carried only the shadow of the threat! Release the mind from worries and fears, and loving God will be spontaneous and natural. Believe Me, fears are much harder to endure than actually facing them. Even the reality of the mind is untrue - for mind is only desire, and desire is the illusion of giving; in trueness, it is only taking away the reality of the divinity from one's own self. Hence, My dear, if the mind is only fictitious - then fear, My sweet, is only the mind's imagination. Then, tell Me, how can fear have any reality?!! The only true reality is your love - your life - your love for life - your life for loving - and your loving God!Source : LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD (Volume II/Part I) Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan
