Guest guest
CHAPTER 23 Learn to handle the everyday stresses of life by simply lifting the fears off and boldly facing them. Stress, My child, is nothing but the pressure that the mind puts on the confidence of one's self. Once confidence crumbles, the self will not be able to convince you, otherwise. Such a man will suffer the discomfort of every small up and down of life - the pain of which, will fill him with resentment, anger, selfishness and complete bitterness. In such a hopeless state, he will drown himself in the anxiety for every circumstance that he must endure. A man with no inner strength, will find within him lesser discrimination, and the one that falters in his choosing, will see, one day, his own reflection with the face of every demon. Indulging, then, in self-pity, wallowing in petty pride, he will then justify every wrong with one simple blame upon life and its unjust Giver! With such an attitude, one will never be able to see life's unseen gifts. First of all, My dear, do not fear before the challenge has even arrived. Know that if your faith in God is absolute, then anything, at any time, can be averted by His Grace. Know, My child, that the preparation to face a challenge cannot be made the day before. Imagine if a country prepared for war only the moment before the attack! What a panic! What a disaster it would face, My child! Remember, My sweet, that at every moment, one must prepare himself for the sudden attack by practicing every discipline that will uplift your strength on the day the war is waged. Then, there will be no fear - only faith in the one that has sent it to you and the confidence in the one within that will receive it, endure it, accept it and overcome it! The challenge of life is not the change it brings, but it is the way you, My dear, will handle and accept its newness. The game is complete, when the player has perfected its every move. Play the game of life by responding with intelligence, stability, persistence and patience. Fear, My child, arrests every response, hence, let it not accompany you in your every day practice of self-discipline. Do not be surprised, do not be disappointed, just go with the flow, and let every uncertainty lose its threat at your feet. Be happy and content at every moment, simply by knowing and realizing that the Giver of all strengths stands by you and will never leave you at the mercy of "time". The strength of your inner life is much bigger than its experiences, hence, know and believe that you can swim over every wave. Do not get attached to routines - time can be conquered by adjusting to its changes. Plan little, prepare yourself to face any situation, at any time. Until the inner vision comes, one will not be aware of the very next moment that comes. Hence, strengthen yourselves by making yourself alert to every present moment and react to it with the stability and knowledge of the true life that exists in you. Stand before time, and time will bow before you. Stand over desires, and desires will crush under the solidness of your refusal. Stand behind the trails of goodness, and it will lead you to every uncertain future with courage and confidence. Kneel before the will of the only Master, and He will secure every one of your fears with His coming - Yes! His coming in your life is the biggest blessing of your birth!Source : LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD (Volume II/Part I) Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan
