Guest guest
CHAPTER 17 Only a few live for the true purpose that life manifests, for most fill it with limitless desires - hence, they face the pain of unreal losses and worrisome anticipation of their new found worldly yearning and gain. Such instability, is bound to give birth to known and unknown fears - the outcome of which, will destroy the strength to discriminate - and the one that knows little or no difference between right and wrong has made the inner home the dwelling of the demon! Yes! The demon that was created and is being sustained by one's own voluntary ignorance. Foster the demon, My child, and you will taste the bitterness of its ingratitude. Goodness, My dear, is not an accomplishment - it is not captured by ambition - it cannot be desired, it cannot be passed over from father to son - No, My child! Goodness is the nature of life - it is the truth of all creation - it is the purity of the soul, it is the promise of divinity - it is the inborn learning that every life brings! However rich a man may be, if he has hidden his wealth, he will live his life in the stress of poverty - if the wealth is used selflessly, then, he, too, will enjoy in its giving and sharing. In the same way, goodness that is concealed behind the curtains of fear, anger and jealously will bring no signs of its richness. Goodness, My sweet, must continuously express itself - its wealth, when shared, makes the giver even richer - it gives the receiver its own richness of faith and self-confidence. Faith and confidence in the oneness of the atma (soul) makes the receiver the new giver of goodness, and hence, the stream of its purity branches to many more lives, until each one finds the ultimate truth that the good in all is only God and God is that power that manifests as the purity behind every act of goodness. Respond, at all times, with your persistence, and the obstacle that stands in the way of your spiritual path will, itself, get buried in its own dirt. As long as your intent remains pure towards all - as long as your language bares only the fruits of love - as long as every action of yours holds all the weight of the vow of truth, know, My dear, that no fear can ever cast a breath upon you. The one that carries such strength within will make even the shadow of fear run, upon hearing the sound of your determined footsteps. No one can force you to do anything. Always remember that! The instigator is your own thoughts, My child. Do not be fooled into thinking that the pain lies in the fulfillment of your desires. No, My sweet, the true thorns is in having the desire itself. Know that as long as there is selfishness within your heart, you will not arise nor find inner purity. Walk on the path that is paved by God - there is no dual path - there are no forks - and there is no turning back! It is the burden of desires that you carry that steal the strength of purity from you. Know that the selfish heart will feel the pangs of emptiness and the pain of confusion each time that it takes the peace from itself. So be content, My dear, not only with what you have, but with what you are given. Goodness is not a state of pretence - it is not an act - it is the strength with which one can see the pretence, the ignorance, the delusion, and yet, it can rise with true humbleness to accept the unreality that surrounds it with the will power of its concentration and focus upon the one truth of God at all times! Meditate, My dear, with every breath that leaves the body - meditate that all is His act - all is His Giving - all is His will - all are His - and His is the only world that exists, shines and delivers.Source : LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD (Volume II/Part I) Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan
Guest guest
Sai Ram Sis Meera,We have to be sincere, willing, and committed in our intentions. Then we will find ourselves receiving promptings, thoughts, ideas, visions, etc. All these come from God through our inner voice, and we must believe it to be so, and allow Him to lead us. We must constantly remind ourselves that He is the Doer and we are only His instruments. As we gradually learn to accept, we will be able to understand how God communicates with us all the time, and our faith will grow stronger.Love,AdelineMeera Bakshi <meeraharesh Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2007 3:44:40 PMRe: Living In The Presence of God (VolII/PtI)-Chapter 17 Om sai Ram, I find this little confusing. How to determine what GOD has assigned a special task for any individual?
