There is nothing as nice as a cheerful word of greeting. 2. Smile at People.It takes 72 muscles to frown, but only 14 to smile! The positive energy you radiate will draw people to you. 3. Call People by their Name.Make eye contact and call people by their first name. The sweetest music to anyone's ear is the sound of his or her own name. 4. Be Friendly and Helpful. Speak and act as if everything you are doing is a real pleasure. Be genuinely interested in people. You can like everyone if you try! 5. Listen to People. Learn how to listen, and really hear what people say. 6. Be Generous with Praise, cautious with Criticism.Praise will win out when it comes to gaining friends, but keep it real! Say thanks when someone helps you. 7. Be Considerate of the Feelings of Others.Do not judge anyone. Put yourself in their shoes. Remember, everyone is doing the best they can! 8. Be Thoughtful of the Opinions of Others.People love their opinions as they do their own children, calling them wrong or incorrect will not get you anything but anger and resentment. 9.
