Guest guest
Namaste all. How can any one limit the limitless God either to one temple or heart! One need to have right tools or apparatus to derive the true benefit from the source. Even though fire is present in the wood, one has to properly ignite it to enjoy its heat. Same with electricity too. If one is not feeling divine vibrations it is not the fault of God nor He is lacking Omnipresence. This beautiful verse describes: vadanti tat tattvavidas tattvam yajnAnam advayam, brahmeti paramAtmeti bhagavAniti zabdyate (Bhagavatam 1.2.11) The knowers of Truth declare Absolute Knowledge alone as the REALITY, - that Knowledge which does not admit of duality (the distinction of multiplicity), in other words indivisible and one without a second, and which is addressed by different names such as Brahman (the Absolute) (1) Paramatma (the Supreme Spirit) (2) and Bhagavan (the Divine Personality). (3) The analogy of water existing simultaneously in its three aspects, such as ice, water and steam can be given as a good explanation. In essence these three are all composed of H2O molecules but their physical properties and qualities differ in their three states. 1. 'Jnana' is considered as the proper tool or right equipment to realize all pervading Impersonal Brahman (steam like). " The exertion is great for those whose consciousness is set on the unmanifest (Brahman), for the goal of the unmanifest is reached with difficulty by the embodied. " Gita 12.5 2. 'Yoga' is the method or right process to attain the bliss of Paramaatma- Supreme Soul (water like), situated in all individual souls. Svetashvatara Upanishad 3, 4 chapters state: " Subtler than the subtle, greater than the great, is the soul that is set in the heart of a being here. One sees it as being without active will and becomes liberated from sorrow, when through the grace of the creator one sees the Lord and its greatness. I know this undecaying, primal soul of all, always present in everything, exempt from birth, as they say, for the God-knowers speak of it as eternal. They are two birds, close companions, clasping the same tree. Of the two, one eats sweet fruit; the other looks on without eating. On this same tree a person, sunk and grieving in slavery, is deluded, but upon observing the Lord happy and great, becomes free of sorrow. " sarva bhUtastham AtmAnaM sarva bhUtAni cA 'tmani, IkSyate yogayuktAtmA sarvatra sama darzanaH (Bhagavad Gita 6.29) His MIND being HARMONIZED by UNION (Yoga) with the Lord, he SEES His Self (Lord) in ALL beings and ALL beings in Himself (Lord). He (realized yogi) SEES the SAME Supreme SELF (Lord) in ALL. yo mAM pazyati sarvatra sarvaM ca mayi pazyati, tasyA 'haM na praNazyAmi sa ca me na praNazyati (B.Gita 6.30) He who sees Me every where and sees ALL in Me, he (she) never becomes lost to Me, nor do I become lost to him (her). sarva bhUta sthitaM yo mAm bhajaty ekatvam AsthitaH, sarvathA vartamAno 'pi sa yogI mayi vartate (B.Gita 6.31) " He who, established in Oneness, worships Me abiding in ALL beings, that devoted yogi lives in Me, whatever may be his mode of living appears to be. " IzvaraH sarva bhUtAnAM hRddeze 'rjuna tiSThati, bhrAmayan sarva bhUtAni yantrArUDhAni mAyayA (B.Gita 18.61) " The Lord DWELLS in the HEARTS of ALL BEINGS, O Arjuna, and by His Power of Maya CAUSES ALL BEINGS to REVOLVE as though MOUNTED ON A MACHINE. " sarvasya cA 'haM hRdi sanniviSTo mattaH smRtir jnAnam apohanaM ca, vedaizca sarvair ahameva vedyo vedAntakRd vedavid eva ca 'ham (B.Gita 15.15) Bhagavan Krishna said: And I am seated in the hearts of all; from Me are memory, knowledge, as well as their loss; I am verily That Which alone has to be known by Vedas ; I am indeed the Author of the Vedanta as well as the sole Knower of the Vedas. 3. 'Bhakti'- Divine Love, is the only tool or correct equipment to experience the divine blissful vibrations of Bhagavan (ice like), with divine Form, Attributes and Pastimes. It deserves another separate message for posting. (to be continued)
Guest guest
Om Nama Shivaya. " How can any one limit the limitless God either to one temple or heart! " - Rightly said PyariJI. But there is contraversy in the subject itself.God LIVES??? - If there is a life there as to be a death, if there is an existance there has to be a non existance. God is beyond Life and death, existance and non existance...... We are a part of GOD and God is not a part of us or materialistic world or dwellings. Temples may help us to concentrate our Bakthi towards GOD, and to show our VIRAHA to disolve back with GOD. Shivaya Nama Aum. Thiruchitrambalam. Senthil.
